What is allowed to be dropped off?
Current medications (excluding medication not on formulary), glasses, contacts, medical equipment, seasonal clothing, one set of clothes for jury trial only.

When are fingerprint times for the public?
Monday & Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. & 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. ($25 cash and ID are required).

How can I put money into inmate's account?
Via the web at TurnKey corrections you can put money on an inmate's account which can be utilized for commissary or purchasing phone or messaging time.

What are the rules for mail?
- Mail will be received and mailed Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.
- There is no limit to the number of letters. Incoming mail and all enclosures are inspected for contraband. Letters that have lipstick, perfume, and/or other items other than postage and addresses will not be accepted.
- All incoming mail must have a return address. Any rejection of unacceptable material will be placed in addressees’ property basket.
- All outgoing mail will be inspected. Envelopes must have a proper return address and the addressee clearly written. No other writing shall be on envelopes. Indigent inmates will be allowed two one (1) ounce outgoing letters per week. No excess postage letters or packages will be allowed. Any other items mailed out will be at the expense of the inmate.
- Mail to/from inmates in another facility is not allowed without the approval of Administration from both facilities.

What are the rules for inmate property?
- The following is a list of the only property that will be accepted after an inmate has been booked into the GFCCC:
- Medications - in original packaging only
- Medical Equipment
- One Set of Clothing (for jury trials only)
- Legal Papers
- Money
- Identification Cards
- Seasonal Clothing
- Inmates may release property and/or funds by filling out a Release of Property request.
- The inmate can have their property picked up the day after the request is submitted, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
- The person authorized to pick up the property must be identified on the request.
- Anyone picking up property or funds must have a valid picture I.D.
- A fee of $1.00 will be assessed for the release of funds.
- The authorized person that picks up the property must sign and date the request form, indicating that they have received the property.
- Any personal property that an inmate retains shall be brought into the facility at the inmate’s own risk. The GFCCC will not be responsible for retained personal property.
- Disposal of Property: All unclaimed or abandoned property will be disposed of by:
- Designating it for use by an indigent inmate
- Donation to a charity
- Being destroyed
- Inmates may also receive the following items, if sent from the publisher and approved by Administration:
- Books (no hard cover books are allowed)
- Magazines
- Newspapers
- Periodicals
